We have just returned from Myrtle Beach. We had an awesome time. Here is a run through of our vacation..... (I apologize, this is a long post)
We stayed in the North Tower at The Ocean Creek Resort. This is located across the street from Barefoot Landing. The condo had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, eating area, living room, and a balcony with an awesome view!
On the first day/night, we went shopping at the outlets, grabbed dinner at Chili's (YUMMY!), did some golf shopping (Nicholas got new golf shoes), took a night time visit to the beach, and then hit the sack - we were TIRED!
Nicholas checking out the beach with his daddy...he hasn't been to the beach since he was 2 years old! |
Day 2 started off with a trip to the beach. We were ready with our new Sport-Brella, which was AWESOME!! I fully recommend it for anyone going to the beach! We weren't sure how either boy would react to the sand and water....Nicholas - LOVED both! David - LOVED the sand, HATED the ocean! No one got sunburned - YAY!!!! We headed in around lunch time, got cleaned up, and headed out to the golf shops, and to play putt-putt. Grandma and I made spaghetti for dinner. After our food settled, we headed out to the pool. Nicholas and Jeremy were the only ones to get in - I thought it was way too cool outside! But Nicholas had a great time!
David covering Nicholas up with sand...and ANYONE that knows me, knows that this makes me cringe...I HATE SAND! LOL! |
Putt-putt....the theme had something to do with volcanoes...we had a great time and David hung out in his stroller the whole time...he was a trooper!
On our last full day, we went back to the beach in the morning, everyone but David and I played golf, we ate dinner at The Chesapeake House (YUMMY!), and then we strolled around Barefoot Landing.
Funny Pictures from Barefoot Landing
On Sunday morning, we got up and left. The trip home was just as nice and easy as the ride to Myrtle Beach. We were definitely blessed with good traveling sons :-) We had such a great time!
