Thanksgiving

Nicholas' favorite thing to ask right now is "do you know what Thanksgiving is backwards?" and of course no one has a clue what it is and his response is "Giving Thanks".  hahaha!  We just went with it....he has really enjoyed Thanksgiving this year.  He has taken the thankful part pretty serious.  They have discussed being thankful at school and at church....and we are reading the new Junie B., First Grader book about Thanksgiving.

David...well, he doesn't have a clue what it is yet.  But he is having a great time...and can eat a lot of the Thanksgiving foods :-)  YAY!

We had a nice Thanksgiving with the family.  It started Tuesday night at Cracker Barrel.  Jeremy's parents went to South Carolina to visit his brother and his wife on Thursday, so we celebrated together a little early.  At first we were disappointed that Cracker Barrel wasn't serving turkey....but it obviously didn't hurt our appetite...the food was great and we had a very nice time.

Wednesday was an early dismissal day at school - YAY!  We went to the Thanksgiving service at our church.  It is always such a nice service....church members get to share freely what they are thankful for and they serve communion.  David had a different plan...he and I hung out in the back hallway.  I was thankful to be able to hang with him :-)

Thursday morning, Jeremy played in a golf tournament.  Yep, a bunch of women were happy to get their husbands out of the house while they cooked :-)  That evening we went to my parent's house for dinner.  The food was great and we took a few pictures.

Pop-Pop cutting the turkey....yummy!

Pumpkin Patch....in the dark

The fall is a busy season for the Crawford family, so we had to visit the pumpkin patch on a Friday night.  Thank goodness the Vikings played away :-)  Enjoy the shots.

Look at how much they have grown.....

After I posted the picture of Nicholas and Ryan, I thought about the picture from lasst year's program.  I can't believe how grown up they are!!!  Look at the difference.

Veteran's Day Program

The first and second grade at Glen Cove performed a Veteran's Day program last night.  We sat in the back of the gym, so pictures are very, very blurry.  I will share a couple though...sorry!

Keeping the little one busy with a sucker.

There he is...in the middle.

I had to add this one because of him smiling :-)

How cool!

Good morning....

Look at this sweet picture I got this morning...it totally made my day!  Unfortunately, volleyball season came to an end last night.  I really enjoyed the season and the group of girls I worked with.  I promise that I will post what has happened in the life of the Crawford family over the last couple of months....
