Christmas Day

We had a wonderful Christmas!  The day started off with a visit from Santa and too many presents.  We headed to church for a beautiful candlelight service.  The Goodman Family Christmas Party (my mom's family) was at our house.  We had the BEST game of Dirty Santa ever!!!  Nana and Grandaddy came over that night to see what Santa brought.  It was a great day - church, family, good food....a great way to celebrate a wonderful birthday!  We didn't take very many pictures...here are the few that we took...enjoy!

December in a flash....

We've had a busy two weeks getting ready for the holidays.  Nicholas and I have been off from school this past week - NICE!  Did I mention, it has been in the mid-50's???  Definitely not winter weather!  But we are still in the Christmas spirit.  Here are some highlights from the last few weeks....

Nicholas had his Kindergarten Christmas program....

Nicholas had a speaking part...he did a great job!

Nicholas was the star student...here is his bulletin board!

Nicholas was one of the wise men in the Children's program at church.

We spent an afternoon in Blacksburg.  Nicholas thought this Hokie Bird was cool and insisted on a picture.

We went to see Santa.  We took advantage of the boys being dressed up to take a few pics at home.

The Shawn family came over for a little Christmas celebration.

We tried....the Crawford and Shawn children ;-)

We went to look at lights and made a Krisy Kreme run.  No, the HOT sign was not on, but they were still good!  Here are my boys sporting their Krispy Kreme hat and enjoying the doughnuts!
