T-ball and Big Brother Night

This Saturday was Nicholas' Opening Ceremonies for T-ball, team pictures, and FIRST game!  The weather was great and the t-ball game was adorable.

After a morning filled with t-ball, the rest of the day was BIG BROTHER DAY!  We wanted to have a fun day with just us and Nicholas.  He decided he wanted to go to the Mill Mountain Zoo, go to the Star, eat dinner at The Olive Garden, and then go home and watch Batman movies.  We had so much fun!!!  He is excited about the arrival of the baby....and we think he will be a GREAT BIG BROTHER!

Nick was allowed to purchase one thing from the gift shop - we were hoping for the yellow python but he chose something much smaller....and cuter :-)

The slide was MUCH faster than he had planned!

Go HOKIES, Happy Easter, and Happy Birthday, Katherine!

What a gorgeous weekend!  We have enjoyed the beautiful weather (I'm only slightly sunburned) and had some great time with family.

We headed up to Blacksburg for the Spring Game!  WOW - who would have thought it would have been so crowded!!!  There were over 40,000 people in attendance!!!  We had to park on the other side of the drillfield!!!

Our view....look at the crowd!!

Easter Sunday was GORGEOUS!  Nicholas wore his first shirt, tie, and blazer.  He was so handsome.  Unfortunately, when I exchanged his pants, they gave me the ones that i had taken back...UGH!  So, his pants were a tad bit short.  On the way home from church, Nick was explaining why we celebrate Easter - so sweet hearing him.

Sunday was a busy day....

Lots of fun took place this weekend.  T-ball practice was canceled on Saturday due to the CRAZY rain we had.  Nick went to see the movie HOP with his Nana.  Jeremy and I went to Chili's with Bret, Chrystal, and Jeff - YUMMY!

Chrystal LOVES chips and salsa from Chili's!

Sunday was a busy day at church....

Nicholas and his choir sang for the Palm Sunday service.  It was hard to get good pics but we tried...

Sunday evening we had the Pioneer Club finale which is a Pinewood Derby Race.  The guys had a great time working on their cars.  Nicholas won FIRST place in the Scooter Division.  He (and Jeremy) were really excited and proud.  Pop-Pop entered a car in the Adult "Antique" Division and came in second!  I'm sure he will be working hard in the off season to bring home a first place next year :-)
