Go HOKIES, Happy Easter, and Happy Birthday, Katherine!

What a gorgeous weekend!  We have enjoyed the beautiful weather (I'm only slightly sunburned) and had some great time with family.

We headed up to Blacksburg for the Spring Game!  WOW - who would have thought it would have been so crowded!!!  There were over 40,000 people in attendance!!!  We had to park on the other side of the drillfield!!!

Our view....look at the crowd!!

Easter Sunday was GORGEOUS!  Nicholas wore his first shirt, tie, and blazer.  He was so handsome.  Unfortunately, when I exchanged his pants, they gave me the ones that i had taken back...UGH!  So, his pants were a tad bit short.  On the way home from church, Nick was explaining why we celebrate Easter - so sweet hearing him.

Sunday was a busy day....

Lots of fun took place this weekend.  T-ball practice was canceled on Saturday due to the CRAZY rain we had.  Nick went to see the movie HOP with his Nana.  Jeremy and I went to Chili's with Bret, Chrystal, and Jeff - YUMMY!

Chrystal LOVES chips and salsa from Chili's!

Sunday was a busy day at church....

Nicholas and his choir sang for the Palm Sunday service.  It was hard to get good pics but we tried...

Sunday evening we had the Pioneer Club finale which is a Pinewood Derby Race.  The guys had a great time working on their cars.  Nicholas won FIRST place in the Scooter Division.  He (and Jeremy) were really excited and proud.  Pop-Pop entered a car in the Adult "Antique" Division and came in second!  I'm sure he will be working hard in the off season to bring home a first place next year :-)

Red Sox Game

Jeremy and Nicholas went to the Salem Red Sox game last night with their t-ball team.  Yeah, you would think they would sit in the cheap seats...BUT NO!  They were in a box with a waitress!!!  They had a great time and even got a visit from Mugsy.  The Red Sox also got a WIN!

The view from the box!

A work in progress

The nursery is still a work in progress, but I wanted to share a picture of the proud Big Brother-to-be and the latest addition to the nursery - the wall hanging and bedding.

A fun weekend!

WOW!  I can't believe it is Sunday night.  We have had a fun-filled weekend.  It started on Friday night - friends from college came to Roanoke and stayed at our house - Grace, Jaime, and Mackenzie.  Then Saturday morning, Jen and Jackson came up from Martinsville to visit, Nick and Jeremy had t-ball practice in the mist, and a party of 8 went to Famous Anthony's for breakfast.  Saturday afternoon was just as exciting.  Nick, Jeremy, and Pop-Pop went to the hobby shop to get supplies for their Pinewood Derby cars.  Katherine and Chrystal threw me a baby shower.  It was amazing...we are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family members.  We are much more prepared now for Baby Crawford's arrival.  Sunday was a bit calmer, but just as exciting.  We had church and then Grandma came over to help me in the nursery.  The Masters controlled our TV Sunday afternoon.  Nick had Pioneer Club at church and came home to a surprise - a water gun fight!  Jeremy was hiding in the front yard and soaked him when he got out of the car - HE LOVED IT!!!  Here are a few pictures from the weekend.  I will post some from the shower as soon as I get some.

Cupcake Night

We got a phone call from Aunt Katherine at 8:06pm telling us to come over and test her cupcakes.  Jeremy was attached to re-runs of the Masters, so Nick and I jumped in the van!  I mean who turns down cupcakes?!  They were awesome!!!  I can't wait until Saturday!

Don't they look yummy??

No, we aren't have a girl AND a boy...she was using the pink stuff for practice!

Of course, he went for the blue!

Beautiful Weather

We went out on the deck to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather and take a few family pictures.  Well...that didn't go quite as we had planned.  HA!

Nicholas had a great first day of t-ball practice on Saturday.  He loved it!  Sunday morning he woke up and informed me that he only had two more days until his next practice.  I hope the storm we are about to get doesn't mess it up.

Visiting Maw Maw

We went to Richfield to visit Maw-Maw.  It is amazing how much fun a group of adults can have with a box of crayons and a couple coloring books.  Jeremy was definitely the most improved colorer.  Maw-Maw stuck with connect the dots and Nick schooled all of us in knowing what color the cartoon characters were suppose to be.  OK, I thought Winnie the Pooh was a tan/brown but apparently he is yellow.  "Germany" and Pop-Pop now have their artwork displayed in Maw-Maw's room.  What a LUCKY lady!

First T-ball Practice

Well today the Crawfords became a rec. league family.  Nicholas and Jeremy have their first t-ball practice today...yes, I said Jeremy.  He is going to help out.  I'm not sure which one of my boys was the most excited or nervous.  Nicholas said that all he wants to do is be a batter...so, that should be interesting when it is time for him to hit the field.  He looked so BIG in his new cleats!!  Enjoy the pictures!  I'll let you know how the practice goes.....
